“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne, a book written within and without, sealed with seven seals.” Apocalypse 5:1
Winding the scroll
Size and brightness show how far a verse's cross-references reach beyond what its place alone would give: a verse near either end reaches about half the Bible even at random.
Choosing a verse plays its links: each is a note, low for Genesis and rising to the Apocalypse, louder with more votes. A verse whose links span the Bible sounds a wide chord; one whose links stay near home, a close cluster.
Drag to turn, scroll or pinch to zoom. Arrow keys step verse by verse along the coil; Enter opens the verse; Escape closes it.
Before Genesis
In canon order, the order of the Douay Bible, not the order in which the books were written. Each link lights when its later verse is reached and flashes back to the passage it answers.
Middle of the scroll
The same wheel lifted: each verse rises by its place in the canon, Genesis at the foot and the Apocalypse at the top, so from directly above it is the wheel. The helix is layout; the lines are the data.
